How to play Mystery Mansion
Mystery Mansion locks you inside a house drawn as a floor plan. Doors between rooms are sealed with coloured locks, and every key is shut away inside a puzzle: a wall safe, a bank of levers or a row of bells. A safe code or a bell sequence is written on a note in some other room you can already reach, so reading the house is half the job. The last key of all is brass, and it opens the garden door.
Each puzzle plays differently. Safes want the right digits, levers flip their neighbours when you pull them, and bells must ring in the exact order the rhyme gives. A wrong code or a wrong bell costs candle time, and when the candle burns down the run is over.
There are five mansions. They grow from nine rooms to twenty and from three locks to six, safes gain a fourth digit, lever banks gain a sixth lever, bell rhymes grow longer, and the candle allows less time for each lock. Every mansion is built so that it can always be solved.
