How to play Mancala
Mancala follows the Kalah rules: six pits a side with four seeds in each and a store at either end. Lift one of your pits and its seeds are sown one at a time anticlockwise — into your own store, but never your opponent's. End in your store and you move again; end in an empty pit on your own side with seeds opposite, and you capture both into your store.
The pit under your cursor shows where its last seed will land, so the counting is always there to check — the skill is in seeing what that landing sets up for the move after, and what it leaves open for your opponent. Seeds are sown one at a time on screen so you can follow every capture.
When one side's pits are empty the other side banks what is left and the bigger store wins. Three opponents look two, four and seven sowings ahead. A loss costs one of three lives and a tied game is replayed.
