How to play Falling Blocks

Falling Blocks is the classic seven-piece stacker on a ten-by-twenty well. Pieces come from a shuffled seven-bag so you never wait long for the one you need, a ghost outline shows where the current piece will land, and the next piece is previewed beside the well.

Clearing one to four rows at once scores 100, 300, 500 or 800 multiplied by the level. Every ten lines the level rises and the fall interval shortens by fifteen percent. Soft drop scores a point per row, hard drop two, and the run ends when a new piece cannot enter the well.

Objective

Clear lines to climb the levels and score as high as you can before the well fills.
