How to play Sliding Puzzle
The classic fifteen-puzzle, starting on a three-by-three grid and growing to four-by-four and five-by-five as you solve each one. Tiles can only move into the empty square, and every shuffle is generated by making legal moves from the solved state, so every board you get is guaranteed solvable.
A move counter and a timer both run from your first slide. Tapping any tile in the same row or column as the gap slides the whole run at once.
Objective
Slide the tiles until they read one to fifteen (or one to twenty-four) with the empty square last.
Features
- Three grid sizes that unlock in sequence
- Shuffles generated from legal moves, so every board is solvable
- Multi-tile slides when you tap along a row or column
- Move counter and timer
- Best moves and best time saved per grid size
