How to play Pizza Chef

Pizza Chef runs a busy little pizzeria for three evenings. Customers queue at the counter, each with an order: a small, medium or large pizza and a few toppings. The prep board always works on the first order nobody has started yet, so top it with exactly what the ticket asks for and slide it into one of the three oven slots.

Then the real work starts. Every size has its own golden window — a small pizza is ready in a few seconds, a large one takes much longer — and a bake meter under each slot shows where the pizza is. Pull it out inside the window and it pays in full, with a tip if the customer has not been kept waiting. Pull it a little early or late and it is pale or dark and pays less. Well outside the window the customer sends it back.

While three pizzas bake you are already topping the next, and the queue keeps growing. A customer who waits too long walks out; a walkout or a pizza sent back is a strike, and three strikes ends the night. Each evening brings customers faster, with more toppings and less patience.
