How to play Burger Chef

Burger Chef is a fast assembly game. Tickets slide onto the rail above the board, and each one shows a burger layer by layer from the bottom bun up: a patty, then perhaps cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles or sauce, in whatever order that customer wants, and the top bun last.

Build each burger on the board in exactly the order shown, then serve it. A ticket lights up as your stack matches it so far, and turns green when it is complete. If you add a wrong layer you can take it back off; if a burger has gone badly wrong, bin it. Patties come from the grill, which keeps three cooking and turns out a new one every few seconds, so a run of double-patty orders can leave you waiting.

Fast service earns bigger tips, and a streak of burgers without a slip adds a bonus. Serving the wrong burger to a ticket, or letting a customer run out of patience, is a strike, and three strikes closes the kitchen. There are three shifts; each one brings tickets faster, taller burgers and less patient customers.
