How to play Typing Shooter

Typing Shooter drops words towards your base, and the only weapon is your keyboard. Type the first letter of a word to lock the cannon onto it, then finish the word to destroy it; when two words start with the same letter, the lower one wins the lock. A wrong letter keeps the lock but breaks your streak, and Backspace lets go of a word you should not have started.

Streaks multiply the points for every word, while a word that reaches the base knocks out one of three shields. Your accuracy and words per minute are tracked for the whole run.

There are ten waves. Each brings more words, closer together and falling faster, and the words themselves grow from three letters to ten. On a touch screen an on-screen keyboard appears below the playfield and the words fall more slowly.
