How to play Train Simulator
Train Simulator gives you a single lever running from four notches of power to four of brake, and a train that does nothing quickly. You brake for a station you cannot see yet, hold under the speed board through the restriction, and keep half an eye on the signals, because the service ahead is only a block or two in front.
Stopping is the craft of it. The platform is sixty metres long and the train has to come to a stand inside it: run through and the station is gone, stop short and you are still short. The timetable is showing the whole time, and arriving at the right second is worth as much as arriving at all.
Three lines, each with tighter limits, closer signals and a service ahead that dwells longer at its platforms. Passing a signal at danger, overspeeding, or running through a platform each costs one of three strikes.
Objective
Work three lines to the timetable, stopping inside every platform without passing a signal at danger.
