How to play Airport Simulator
Airport Simulator puts you in front of a holding stack. Inbound flights circle overhead with the fuel they have left showing; you send them down one of two runways, they taxi to a gate, turn around and then need a runway again to leave.
A runway is blocked for a few seconds by whatever last used it, heavies take longer on it than the rest, and crosswind closes one of the two without warning. Gates are the other constraint: a flight cannot land into an airport with nowhere to put it, so the departures you have not got moving are the reason the arrivals are still holding.
Five hours of traffic, each with aircraft arriving closer together and with less fuel than the last. A flight that runs dry diverts, and three diversions end the shift.
Objective
Sequence landings and departures for five hours without letting a flight run out of fuel.

- A holding stack where the fuel remaining is the whole priority order
- Two runways that clear slowly and close for crosswind
