How to play Spider Solitaire
Spider Solitaire is played with two decks across ten columns. Any card can be placed on the next rank up whatever its suit, but only a run in one suit moves as a unit — and only a complete king-to-ace run in one suit leaves the table. The stock deals a card onto every column at once, and never while a column is empty.
The number of suits changes the whole character of the game. With one suit, every stack you build is a stack you can use. With two, a mixed stack is a wall you will have to take apart again. With four, nearly every placement locks something away, and deciding which columns to keep pure is the entire game.
The score starts at 500 and every move costs a point, while each completed run adds a bonus scaled by the number of suits. Every move and deal can be undone. When the stock is empty and no useful move is left, the deal is over.
Objective
Clear all eight king-to-ace runs from the table in the suit count you chose.
