How to play Fraction Master
Fraction Master puts a picture behind every number. Each fraction on screen is drawn as a bar cut into equal parts with some of them shaded, and the answer you are building is drawn the same way underneath — so before you check an answer you can already see whether it covers the same amount.
Questions ask you to compare two fractions, write one in lowest terms, find a missing numerator in a pair of equivalent fractions, or add two fractions together. Answers are built with a top and bottom number you can type or step up and down.
There are four rounds of five questions, from comparisons with the same denominator to sums with different ones. A wrong answer earns a specific hint — the common denominator to use, or a reminder that an equal answer still needs simplifying — and a second try. A second wrong answer shows the working and costs one of three hearts.
