How to play Gold Miner Idle
Gold Miner Idle is a mine run from the top of the shaft. Diggers on each level cut ore into a crate, and a lift works the shaft on its own: it goes straight down to the deepest ore, loads on the way back up and sells everything at the surface.
Every level down holds ore worth nearly three times as much a lump, but it is one more stretch of shaft for the lift to cover, and the rock is harder, so a swung pick cuts less the deeper it goes. Dig deeper without upgrading the lift and the crates fill while the till stays empty — a full crate turns red, so you can see exactly where the lift is falling behind.
The Mother Lode waits on the tenth level. It weighs 400, far more than a new lift can carry, and the lease on the claim runs out after ten minutes. Hire diggers level by level, upgrade the lift, dig deeper, swing a pick where the ore is worth most, or crank the winch to run the lift at double speed for a moment.
